Keith is a lifelong resident of the area he represents. He has served as a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives since 1999. Since 2012, he has represented the 88th Legislative District, which includes much of Tazewell and McLean Counties.
Keith currently serves on the House committees for Adoption and Child Welfare, Financial Institutions, Insurance, and International Trade and Commerce.
Prior to serving in the Illinois General Assembly, Keith served on the Tazewell County Board (1994-1998) and the Morton Village Board (1977-1986). He also served as Tazewell County Recorder, and as a member and chairman of the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission. He graduated from the University of Virginia, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Government.
Keith lives in Mackinaw with his wife Deb and their two daughters.
